§ 40-3. Authority.

(a)

The town enacts this chapter in pursuance of the authority granted by G.S. ch. 160A, art. 19 (G.S. 160A-360 et seq.).

(b)

Whenever any provision of this chapter refers to or cites a section of state law and that section is later amended or superseded, this chapter shall be deemed amended to refer to the amended section or the section that most nearly corresponds to the superseded section.
