§ 6-187. Findings.

Pursuant to G.S. 160A-441, it is hereby found and declared that there exists in the town abandoned structures which the town council finds to be health or safety hazards as a result of the attraction of insects or rodents, conditions creating a fire hazard, dangerous conditions constituting a threat to the public and adjacent properties and frequent use by persons as living quarters in the absence of sanitary facilities, or other conditions or uses not in keeping with the public health, safety and welfare.
